Greetings, fellow citizens of MyMiddle-earth.
The Middle-earth Network has grown tremendously in recent months, and we have our amazing community to thank for that!
With all this growth and the ever expanding nature of this community, the Founders and our core staff members need help!
That is where we hope you will come in. The Middle-earth Network is seeking out folks with a desire to help in a few key areas. Please note that these descriptions are just an overview. If you express interest, and are chosen to fill one of these roles, you will be given detailed training and input from the Founders and staff of the Middle-earth Network to make sure you can hit the ground running!
Web Programmer and Server Admin
We’re looking for an active community member or two with experience and expertise in some or all of the following areas: Linux Apache Web server administration and PHP / MySQL development in a WordPress environment.
In time, other positions will be added and will (as with the above) be expected to work closely with, and under the supervision of, Middle-earth Network Founders as well as together.
The above are seen as separate departments, and are not intended to be grouped together or assigned to one single individual. While we greatly admire the zeal and dedication of our community, we want to make sure we aren’t placing unnecessary burdens on any one member of our Fellowship.
Applicants who are selected as candidates will be further interviewed by the Station Director and possibly additional Founders via Skype.
