The Return of the Ring 2012
The Tolkien Society will be celebrating Tolkien’s enduring legacy with a 5-day festive and conference at Loughborough University, England. This event’s roots go deep, a harmonious blending of the artistic, creative, musical, fandom, academic, and partying with the opportunity to renew fellowships, will make it a long-expected gathering. A time to make new friends, and celebrate the legacy of The Professor.

Help us save the Shire! The Saul Zaentz Company has been using what we believe are bullying tactics against individuals and family businesses over trademark issues. The community at MyMiddle-Earth believes this is against Professor Tolkien’s vision and has taken a stand against the Saul Zaentz Company by filing opposition to the company’s trademarking of the term Shire.

The Community Crier is the MyMiddle-earth weekly update on the latest events and announcements happening within our community. If you would like your event listed here and mentioned on the companion Community Crier radio segment, please submit a Calendar Event to the appropriate Group (e.g. if you are hosting an event on the LOTRO Landroval server, post a calendar event in the Landroval Group and we’ll get it added here) or if there is not a Group created for your event, you may leave a comment below.
