Wow finally home, that took a while that delay in Aukland because of the storm ment I couldnt get my plane in Kuala Lumpur so I had to stay the night in a hotel there and get the next flight the following morning. Still recoving because of jet lag I slep for 17 hours! -

A Long Expected Journey 7 months agoFinally got around to packing tonight…some last minute errands tomorrow and I can officially be on vacation with NO work to do for 2 whole weeks, woo!! Been a couple years since I’ve had a proper vacation and as I prefer the life of a Hobbit, seems spending a couple weeks touring “Middle-earth” should suit me just fine.

A Long Expected Journey 7 months, 2 weeks agoCan’t believe how fast time has gone since those first few details fo the trip started coming out. Its going to be such an adventure. Anyone know if we will actually be seeing the Hobbit movie while we are out there or are we just (not that it isnt exciting enough) going to be around for the premier?

I am wondering the same thing! Need to know whether I should be trying to get tickets to the film or not, hehe :)

Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing it while there – I believe it comes out on the 12th in NZ so we’ll be gone by then — but we’ll be getting to see all the stars arrive for the premiere – we’ve got that WHOLE day free to run around Wellington :D

If it is anything like the LotR premiers in Wellington it is going to be an absolutely incredible day there in the city! The atmosphere will be fantastic! :)

Yep, I came to Wellington for the ROTK Premiere and the energy was incredible. The stars had the best time so they will surely have their party hats on this time too!

I cannot believe November is here already, so exciting!! I just bought my travel insurance and have got most of my holiday clothes, now I just need to pull down all the cases we have in the loft and see if we have one suitable!!

Very close. It’s a bit deceiving as it’s a bigger hill than the picture makes it seem but you have Rohan correct. Yes, I caught you saying Arwen’s comment was a *hint*, so now I would say Edoras. The mountains in the back I think diminish the height of the hill.
