Landroval

Public Group active 2 weeks, 6 days ago

For fans and kinfolk of the Landroval server, Lord of the Rings Online.
To converse with friends, share tall tales, and perhaps find something within yourself.
An inspiration, a muse, a creative spark, to gift the community.
Artists, craftsmen, balladiers, all are welcome in these halls.
Your contribution stimulates the collective to produce, far beyond what was thought capable.
We are not defined by a server, but the people within it.
The table is set, the fire is lit, welcome home.

Ales and Tales at the Downs Gate
July 23, 2012 at 9:30 pm
Description:

Follow the road from the Michel Delving stable master - out of town, not into it - and you will reach the Downs Gate! What adventures lie beyond we may never know, but a celebration of song and dance and tale awaits at the gate on July 23.

Ales and Tales is a weekly event originally conceived by Galenswerd, held on Landroval Server and hosted by the Lonely Mountain Band. Each week, we meet and enjoy the pleasures of food and drink, music, dancing, tales and fine companionship. The entertainment is provided by the audience themselves, as individuals and groups come forward to offer tales, poems, and songs. Those in the audience may participate by drinking, smoking, sitting quietly and listening, kibitzing, dancing, giving out drinks and food, or whatever seems appropriate for your character to do in a pub. It's a great place to unwind after a hard day of fighting the shadow, as you kick back with a mug of ale and socialize with your fellow adventurers.
