I agree that WoW is a weak example of how to tell a compelling story in an MMO. It’s not the easiest genre to tell a story in, but there are times when I’m like “You’re not even paying attention, are you?”

World of Warcraft 1 year agoI warn you all now, I have a free account but never really made it out of the beginner areas, first time I died and had to go hunt for my body freaked me out and I stopped and that was in that snowy town right outside the beginner zone. Not sure I even remember my password.

Gnome Rogue Merrydew is now lvl 11 on Wyrmrest Accord, wish they had let me make her a hunter type. I did roll an Elfish type hunter too and I think she is lvl 9 but having used the random name generator on her I can’t remember what her name is.

Considering LotRO is the only mmo I’ve played, everything will just be a LotRO clone from my perspective anyhow. ;-) Well, I did play Star Trek Online for a wee bit in beta, not enough space Hobbits to keep my interest.
