So, now that I’m well into the first draft of the second book there are things that are popping up; extra scenes that I now have to write in and extra characters that I am adding. Ohh, Victoria, I know how you feel. The second book at the moment in my series is being a juggling at too ^^; With new characters inserting themselves into the story, that I honestly didn’t realize they even would. Worldbuilders 2 months agoI have created worlds before but I have let them fall by the wayside. However, I will continue again soon. I write, I draw. Mostly, I draw–characters, lands, maps, etc.

Worldbuilders 2 months, 2 weeks agoI wrote a story about aliens once. They wore the skins of humans or animals so they looked like us. But in the end they turned out to be merpeople – or some variant of that race of beings. I don’t know if that counts.

Working on a piece of Cthulhu Mythos fiction. First time I’ve written anything in a long time.

I’m in the process of ordering the course of history for thousands of years in my fantasy world. I have to have it all worked out ahead of time because everything that happens has significance to the story arc which also covers thousands of years. I’m getting closer. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to begin writing again in earnest.

Starting the outline for my second book. I already have too many characters in the first book and now others (and more subplots) are about to enter the fray. For me, outlining is no longer an option.

Worldbuilders 4 months, 1 week agoI was looking through some old files – really old files – on my hard drive and I have lots of interesting bits and pieces of story. So I am planning a flash fiction blog for them. Should be interesting work while I take a break on the trilogy. I also need to come up with a glossary.

Worldbuilders 4 months, 2 weeks agoI redrew the map of my fantasy world last night. I think this is going to be the final version. I am happy with what I ended up with. Now I need to rewrite the history a bit to match up with the new geography!
